Chambers is seeking an Assistant Practice Manager to join their forward thinking and friendly team. The successful candidate will manage and develop the practices of a designated team of highly specialist Barristers and support business development and marketing activities for defined practice areas, including the development of client relationships.
This busy and demanding role is integral to the efficient and effective functioning of the team and requires strong inter-personal skills, organisation and administration skills, as well as the ability to multi-task and prioritise.
The Person
The ideal candidate will ideally have a minimum of 3 years’ experience gained in a relevant Chambers environment. They will be highly motivated, client service focused and possess outstanding communication skills.

Duties include:
- All aspects of diary and practice management for a designated team of members
- Quoting and negotiating fees
- Contributing to Practice Development Meetings
- Liaising with and working alongside Chambers’ marketing team
- Promoting Chambers generally and attending functions and seminars
- Managing and mentoring more junior colleagues
