Chambers is now seeking a Fees Clerk to join their forward-thinking and friendly team.
Reporting to the Senior Fees Clerk and Senior Clerk, the successful candidate will support fees billing and credit control duties, including managing fee claim submissions and uploading relevant supporting documents. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking a rewarding role with outstanding long-term prospects and opportunities for progression. Full training will be provided if and where necessary. Our client will consider applications from those seeking reduced-hours/part-time arrangements (paid pro-rata).
The Role:
- Together with the Senior Fees Clerks, assist in managing a systematic approach to the billing and collection of Barristers’ fees.
- Develop and maintain professional working relationships with instructing solicitors and external organisations.
- Identify specific aged debt and address it in a focused, strategic way.
- Maintain accurate records of all cases’ progress after fee notes have been issued, ensuring information is recorded promptly and accurately.
- Production of various reports through LEX and Excel.

- Willingness to learn, ability to work to tight and often competing deadlines.
