Chambers is seeking an Assistant Practice Manager to join their high performing clerking team. The successful candidate will assist in managing and developing members’ practices and support business development and marketing activities, including the management and development of client relationships. Chambers have a proven track record of educating and developing their junior clerks, resulting in first class service for clients and barristers, as well as swift career progression.
This exciting role has been created to add further strength to their team and is integral to the efficient and effective running of Chambers. It requires someone with strong inter-personal skills, organisation and administration skills, as well as the ability to multi-task and prioritise.
Duties include:
- Diary and practice management, including the management and negotiation of fees
- Business and practice development, including client relationship management
- Manging and mentoring more junior colleagues
- Involvement in various projects and change programmes involving continuous review of operational business processes and strategic policies
- Attend events and other functions outside Chambers held by clients or other third parties
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience working in a relevant Chambers or similar legal/professional services environment. They will be highly motivated; client service focused and possess outstanding communication skills.
