Our client is a leading Barristers’ Chambers in Lincoln’s Inn with 73 members, including 21 KCs. Members are leaders in several key practice areas, including chancery, commercial, civil fraud, corporate, insolvency, real estate, financial and related fields. Members of Chambers advise and appear in many of the most significant and complex matters in these areas both domestically and internationally.
Chambers now seeks to appoint a highly suitable individual to the role of Clerk (PM level responsibilities) to join its highly regarded Practice Management/Clerking team.
Reporting to the Deputy Senior Clerks, core duties will include;
- Diary, Case and Fee management (including negotiation and agreement)
- Practice development, management and workflow (for all members)
- Significant client engagement and client care
- Brand promotion, BD and marketing (including attending events)
- Fixing Court hearings
Suitable candidates will ideally have 6 + years’ previous experience within another similarly successful and busy (civil) chambers. Essential qualities include; a highly professional can-do attitude, very strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills, highly attentive and accurate attention to detail, especially under pressure.
