With over 100 barristers, its barrister “members” are instructed to advise, defend, and prosecute in many of the highest-profile and complex cases of the day, some of which have a global reach and attract substantial media attention

Working within a dynamic team, Chambers urgently seeks to appoint a highly suitable, dynamic individual to the position of Administration Assistant. This full-time position is offered on a 9-month fixed-term contract. This is an important support role that is integral to the efficient operation of Chambers. The successful applicant must be capable of working within a team, while being able to work autonomously (after a reasonable initial period). They will preferably have some experience working in a similar role in another Chambers or professional environment.

 Duties fall across the full remit of administration and low-level social media and events marketing and duties will include;

  • Management of external contractors
  • Recruitment & Pupillage Support
  • Communications & Marketing
  • Events & External Engagement
  • Committee & Clerking (Practice Management) Support

Required Skills and Attributes

  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems (LEX training will be provided).
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Personable and confident, with the ability to build relationships with key staff
