(838) Chambers Administrator – Leading Crime and Regulatory Barristers’ Chambers

Consistently ranked among the leading barristers’ chambers in the country for criminal and regulatory work, our client, 2BR, is recognised as one of the UK’s leading and busiest Barristers’ Chambers in these areas. It is a highly regarded criminal and regulatory law chambers, now operating from modern premises in the centre of London’s legal district.

Chambers is seeking to recruit a highly effective and organised individual with a proactive, “can-do” attitude and a willingness to take on a variety of tasks. This standalone role plays a key part in both the day-to-day oversight and long-term operations of Chambers. The ideal candidate will offer energy and commitment, providing a significant role in the delivery and administration of core aspects of Chambers’ operations.

Key duties include:

  • Facilities Management
  • Managing onboarding, filing staff contracts, and general support as required
  • Management of supplies and external (supplier) relationships
  • IT – troubleshooting and acting as the first point of contact
  • Supporting the Pupillage (“graduate recruitment”) process
  • Policies, Compliance (inc. GDPR and Cyber) and Insurance Management
  • Ad hoc support to the Marketing function

The role is offered on a part-time basis, initially, with the core hours of 25 hours per week (ideally delivered evenly Mon-Fri) with a possibility of increasing the hours at a later date. This can be delivered as a hybrid role, with some working from home possible.  The successful candidate will need to be flexible with hours, as some weeks may require more time and some less.  A background of working in a barristers’ chambers or a similarly fast-paced legal/professional service business would be an advantage.
