Nick Rees

Managing Director

Nick is one of the co-founders of GRL Legal LLP (GRL) and Managing Director. Nick leads on GRL’s Barrister and Barrister Team moves, senior leadership and management roles and is also involved in GRL’s Change Management projects.

Nick’s in-depth knowledge of the Bar and wider legal sector has been developed having spent more than 30 years with leading barrister chambers, law firms and as a legal consultant.

Nick’s experience includes senior management roles, mentoring of legal and non-legal staff, extensive recruitment and project management, implementing and managing change and developing individuals and teams.

Nick has also created GRL’s brand ‘GRLX’, focused on leadership at the Bar. Nick has previously held positions on a number of Bar Council Committees and similarly with the Management Committee of the Institute of Barristers’ Clerks.

Nick holds an LLB (Hons).
