Salary – circa £35k plus benefits
Our client is a long-established civil set of Barristers’ Chambers specialising in Personal Injury, Industrial Disease and Employment work. Members of Chambers provide advice and advocacy services to a broad range of clients and individuals and have a well deserved and consistent reputation for excellence. Chambers’ clerking and support staff are also recognised for their dedication and commitment to client service.
Chambers is seeking a Front of House and Pupillage Administrator to join their committed and friendly team. Suitable candidates will be able to work well under pressure and be seeking a rewarding role in a forward-thinking and proactive environment.
Key duties include:
- Managing Chambers reception services’
- Effective management of all telephone and email communications into reception
- Managing the booking and allocation of conference/seminar rooms
- Assisting with the organising and delivery of conferences and other major events
- Support in the management and administration of all parts of the pupillage application process – training provided
- Support in the administration of all mini-pupillages and work experience placements
The successful applicant will:
- Ideally possess a minimum of 2 years’ experience gained in a similarly busy, professional environment
- Possess excellent all round communication and interpersonal skills
- Be focused on delivering excellent client care
- Possess a professional and service-oriented approach
- Strong initiative and willingness to learn and develop skills

NB: This role requires attendance 5 days a week in Chambers, however some consideration will be given to flexible working, on the pupillage element of the role, following the successful completion of probation.
