Our client is a highly regarded specialist Barristers’ Chambers with more than 150 Barristers (including 37 King’s Counsel). Chambers has a formidable reputation and is recognised for excellence across all its key practice areas. Members of Chambers and Staff are also acknowledged for providing outstanding client service.
This role provides direct support to the Teams’ designated Practice Manager and is an excellent opportunity for a suitable individual seeking to start their career or take on their next role in a busy and fast paced Chambers environment. The Team supports members of Chambers practicing in media, actions against the police, inquests and inquiries – there is no requirement to have specialist knowledge of these areas as full training will be provided.
Line managed by and reporting to the Practice Manager, key duties include:
Practice and diary management
Supporting the business development function
Liaising with Solicitors and other clients
Supporting more senior colleagues
Supervision of more junior colleagues
Suitable individuals will ideally possess a minimum of 2 years’ experience gained in a relevant Chambers or similar legal/professional services environment. They will be highly motivated, client service focused and possess outstanding communication skills.
